The Kimber 1911 Custom LW Liberty is a clean, purpose-built lightweight 1911 combining an aluminum frame with a stainless slide, both finished in KimPro Black for corrosion resistance and low-reflectivity. It carries a 5.0″ match-grade stainless barrel with a black match-grade bushing and a 1:16″ left-hand twist, paired with a full-length guide rod and 16-lb recoil spring for consistent cycling and reduced muzzle flip. Controls and handling are straightforward: front slide serrations, ANKA grips, and a 3-hole aluminum trigger finished in black with a factory pull of approximately 4–5 lb. The pistol measures 8.7″ overall, 5.25″ high (90° to barrel), 1.28″ wide, and weighs 31.2 oz empty, accepting a single 7-round .45 ACP magazine. Designed for reliable, predictable performance without unnecessary extras.
