Hogue 34450 EX-04 Extreme Tactical Folding Knife

The Hogue 34450 EX-04 Tactical Folding Knife is the next evolution in the Hogue Extreme Series of knives. The Hogue EX-04 incorporates the rock-solid construction, materials, and plunge lock of the EX-01 and EX-03 models. The cryogenically treated 154CM Stainless Steel blade and lightweight G-Mascus Handles are standard with the EX-04 models. As usual, blades are hand sharpened and then honed to a razor’s edge. Besides being made from the same stock with the same attention to detail, the blades of the EX-04 series are radically different from earlier versions from Hogue. Available with either an upswept or modified wharncliffe style blade which nest’s perfectly in the ergonomic G-Mascus handle. Both versions feature dual grinds which create a keen cutting edge and add to the overall “look” of the knife. Additionally, the dual grinds serve the purpose of creating a blood groove that keeps the blade from sticking into objects. Additionally, the Wharncliffe style blade has been modified with a slight curve that provides just enough belly to make it more practical for general purpose use. The EX-04 features an ergonomically designed handle that is comfortable in either saber or ice-pick grips.
