About the Ruger Security-9:
The Ruger Security-9 is a compact, polymer framed, semi auto pistol designed for every application. Concealment, range sessions, or home defense; the Ruger Security-9 is constructed with a blued finish, through-hardened alloy steel slide and barrel and high-performance, glass-filled nylon grip frame. Precision machined, hard coated aluminum chassis with full-length guide rails. The Security-9 uses the Secure Action trigger system, derived from the reliable and proven hammer fired LCP II pistols.
Safety features include bladed trigger safety; manual safety; neutrally balanced sear with significant engagement and strong spring tension; and hammer catch to help prevent the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled. Safe, easy takedown with no special tools or trigger pull. Included with Ruger Security-9 are two(2) 15-round alloy steel magazines. Be sure to check out RUGER for more information!

Nice for any range or home defense. Perfect weight for aiming and carrying. You’d probably want something a little bit smaller if you conceal carry, though.
