The Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS FS, 15 Round Semi Auto Handgun, 9mm is a compact sized handgun, is the perfect personal defense firearm for law enforcement, firearm enthusiasts, and first time buyers. Chambered in 9mm, the G19 Gen 5 9×19 features Glock’s latest dual recoil assembly, a reversible 15 round magazine for left or right handed shooters, and new modular back straps — perfect for beginners and small handed shooters, the back straps permit more control. The G19 Gen 5 keeps the Glock accessory rail for attachments. The Glock 19 Gen 5 now includes Glock’s Marksman barrel; using traditional “lanes and grooves” rifling vs the polygonal style found on previous models. An ambidextrous slide stop is now standard for all Gen 5 models, as well as the improved nDLC finish on the slide. Glock now has taken the finger grooves off of the frame, reminiscent of the Glock Gen 1 and Gen 2 pistols. These changes deliver improved accuracy, durability, performance, control, and flexibility in both low-stress and high-stress situations. The already near-perfect Glock 19 Gen 5 MOS model comes with the addition of the Modular Optic System (MOS). The slide is precision machined to provide a mounting system for popular optic sights. With multiple adapter plates, you can quickly and easily mount miniature electronic sights to the rear of the Gen5 GLOCK slide, which has front serrations for easier and quicker manipulations.
