The Blackpoint Right-Hand Mini Wing Holster S&W M&P Shield 9/40 is our newest IWB holster. This holster ties together several elements of our other popular holsters to create a very comfortable IWB package. When it comes to IWB holsters, there are 2 opposing schools of thought… 1- Put a large, soft backing on the body side of an IWB holster to make it comfortable. 2- Make an IWB holster so small and thin that the wearer does not realize it is there. We certainly offer a holster in the first category with our large and small hybrids, and we are excited about entering the second category. We were aiming to create the smallest possible holster footprint while still maintaining two points of attachment for stability. The mini wing design allows us to truly scale the size of the holster proportionate to the size of the pistol.
