Benchmade Mini-Infidel is now my main carry pocket knife. Fast double action blade kinetics make it a perfect one handed knife. The switch is solid and won’t misfire by mistake…..meaning it takes a strong thumb to activate in or out. The blade flys fast and locks out hard and strong when activated outward and moves just as fast inward using the same thumb switch. As for the blade itself….a very very sharp double edged blade which has cut me by mistake several times getting used to the sharps on both sides, so be careful. The overall length and size is perfect for a pocket carry, although a little thicker than I really like but it still works. The handle closed length is the perfect size and I wouldn’t want something bigger in my pocket anyway and it fits my hand perfectly. The blade is proportional to the handle although it’s thinner than my other knives but still looks and feels great in extended mode. Did I mention the blade is sharp as hell. The anodized handle is a matte finish and not the typical slick anodizing I’m used to on other things….the matte finish works along with special handle cut design for an excellent gripping experience.
