PRODUCT FEATURES

The scope offers a fast focus eyepiece and the FireDot reticle. This creates a quick and visible aiming point in low light conditions. The FireDot system has a feature that extends battery life with Motion Sensor Technology (MST). The scope automatically deactivates illumination after 5 minutes of inactivity, yet reactivates instantly as soon as any movement is detected or manually operated with its push button design.

Most importantly, each scope design has to survive 5,000 impacts on the Punisher, Leupold’s recoil simulation machine. The force of each impact is 3x the recoil of a .308 rifle. If the scope doesn’t perform in any way during the tests, Leupold makes adjustments to the design and tests it again. In addition, the rear focal plane reticle remains fine and minimally covers the target at high power. This allows subtensions to change with zoom, allowing the tuning of ballistic reticles. Further, Leupold scopes disperse recoil energy for unrivaled durability and performance with ultra-lightweight construction.

Meanwhile, the CDS™ (Custom Dial System) elevation dials allow you to quickly dial your elevation adjustment to different ranges with a custom dial matched to your specific ballistic information. Out of the box CDS scopes come with a MOA scale dial to get you on target. Then you can order your one free custom laser marked dial from the Leupold Custom shop with your exact ballistics and conditions. The turret system utilizes 1/4 MOA precision finger click adjustments for windage and elevation. This offers absolute repeatability and dependability over a lifetime of extreme use.

Finally, this scope offers a 30mm main tube which is great for twilight light management. Also, scratch resistant lenses and a fog proof and waterproof design allows you to be ready under any condition.
