The Ruger American Pistol 8635 was designed with the toughest standards in mind. Built to perform in the harshest conditions. This American Pistol 8635 comes with an ambidextrous thumb safety, and features an internal sear block system, and an integrated trigger safety. Ambidextrous slide stop and an ambidextrous magazine release for right and left handed shooters. The striker system featured in the American Pistols utilizes a pre-tensioned striker that has a powerful impact on primers without having a heavier trigger pull. All American Pistols have modular wrap-around grip systems that adjust palm swell and trigger reach. Unlike some competitors pistols, these require no tools and no trigger pull for an easy disassembly. Genuine Novak LoMount Carry 3-Dot sights. The American 8635 frame is molded with a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail which allows a mounting point for most lights and lasers. Includes two(2) nickel-Teflon plated magazines, 12 round and 17 round capacity.
